Pokédemix is a personal Pokédex unlike any other —
every single card is a unique, one-of-a-kind original illustration
commissioned from artists whose work genuinely moves me.
Each piece is made by hand — watercolors, ink, gouache, and more —
as varied in style and technique as the artists themselves.
Artists are given complete freedom in the choice of subjects,
style, and possible contamination with other works or settings —
even those far from the classic Pokémon aesthetic.
It starts with Generation I, then II, then III.
It will take years — and that's exactly the point.
This is a slow, beautiful project, built card by card, artist by artist.
A living collection that puts craft and creativity first.
Every card in this collection is an original illustration painted by hand on 62×89mm card stock. Each piece carries the soul of the artist — and the small imperfections that come with working on a physical surface are part of what makes every card truly unique.
When cards come together to tell a bigger story — multi-panel works crafted to be seen as one, or illustrations bound by a common narrative, theme, or style that weaves through them.
Meet the illustrators who brought this collection to life. Many have worked on illustrations for Magic: The Gathering, Disney Lorcana, and Cuphead — Out of the Cards — as well as comics, illustrated books, and other major editorial projects.
